Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Spiritus X ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Spiritus X does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Audio recordings or voice data
• Sensor data or readings

Local Data Processing

All app functionality operates entirely on your device:

• Sensor Data: Magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor readings are processed in real-time on your device and are never transmitted externally.
• Audio: Microphone access is used only for real-time audio level detection and on-device speech recognition. No audio is recorded or stored.
• Speech Recognition: Voice input in True/False Mode is processed using Apple's on-device speech recognition (iOS 17+). Transcriptions remain on your device.
• Session Logs: Investigation logs are stored locally in your device's app storage and are never uploaded to any server.

Device Permissions

Spiritus X requests the following permissions to function:

• Motion & Fitness: Required to access accelerometer and gyroscope data for motion detection modes.
• Microphone: Required for audio level detection and voice-activated Q&A in True/False Mode.
• Speech Recognition: Required for transcribing spoken questions in True/False Mode.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings app. Some features may not function without the required permissions.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation that a valid subscription exists but do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any personal billing details.

For subscription validation, we send only the anonymous purchase receipt to our server to verify its authenticity with Apple. No personal information is included in this process.

Third-Party Services

Spiritus X does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is:

• Apple's App Store for subscription verification
• Apple's Speech Recognition framework (processed on-device for iOS 17+)

Data Storage

All app data, including session logs and settings, is stored locally on your device using iOS's standard app storage. This data is:

• Not accessible to other apps
• Backed up to iCloud only if you have iCloud Backup enabled for the app
• Deleted when you uninstall the app

Children's Privacy

Spiritus X is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
